Pastoral Care

At Adare Uniting Church we care for each other and encourage everyone to belong to a home group or have a personal carer. In this way each person is encouraged in their daily life, and has the support of their church family in times of illness or distress.

Several Prayer Chains lovingly support our church family through prayer. Pastoral Visiting Team members regularly visit our church family who are unable to attend church or home groups. Carer Support Team members offer support to carers and provide help in times of need.

A mid-week Communion Service and lunch is held two or three times a year for people who are unable to attend church. Anyone is welcome to attend these services; they are a great time of fellowship for all who want to avail themselves of these facilities.

Youth Pastor

Ryan Carter has joined us as our Youth Pastor. This role includes:

The development of inclusive programs which involve youth
The building of the leadership capacity of the youth
Exercising pastoral care
Establishing evening youth worship opportunities
Creating opportunities for Christian growth
Building Christian values.
