FELLOWSHIP SERVICE
Next Sunday, 16th June, the Adare
Evening and Day Fellowships will
have their annual Fellowship
Service. The theme of the service is
‘Who Is My Neighbour?’. The preacher will be
Barbara Carter who has a wealth of experiences in
Mission and Christian outreach. She is also ‘Mum’
to Ryan and Juanita and ‘Grandma’ to Hazel and
Daphney.
The service will be followed by morning tea in the
hall with home made biccies!

A working bee is held each third Wednesday of the month.
All welcome for a bit of work, a bit (or more) morning tea, and a bit of a yarn.
We start anytime after 9:00am and go home in time for lunch.

Living out new life in Christ’s Body
Saturday 22nd June is the Birthday of the Uniting
Church in Australia and to celebrate, the four
Uniting Churches in our area, Adare, Newland,
Port Elliot and Yilki will be sharing lunch together at
the Hotel Crown at 11:30am. Enjoy a 2 course
meal for the cost $25. Proceeds will go to the
ministry of guest speaker, Albert Patrizi - candidate
for Minister of Deacon and Prison Chaplain.
A former drug addict and prison inmate, Albert
didn’t come to faith until he spent time in prison.
With regular visits from the Kairos Prison Ministry
Team, and their ongoing support once he left
prison, Albert’s faith grew stronger over time.
Eventually he realised that God was calling him to
ministry - specifically to prison ministry.
